Throughout his career, Clay was recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to his duty. He has received numerous awards and commendations, as well as holding one of the longest running careers on the Louisiana State Police Protective Service detail for the last six Governors.
Clay is known for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to upholding the law while fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. He is dedicated to implementing effective crime prevention strategies, ensuring public safety, promoting community engagement and collaboration, all with a strong focus on officer training.
